How do I add an email address that is being rejected to the whitelist? PDF Print E-mail

SafeRelay will run through its normal rules for an email address/ domain not listed in the whitelist, it will test for SPAM and Viral infections in the default way.

If you want to gaurantee delivery of email from a particular user then you can add them to the whitelist. You can add every user at a domain but this is not advisable as it encourages SPAM. Note: any users you add to the whitelist are no longer processed by SafeRelay.

How to add a contacts email address:

1. Log in to the SafeRelay gateway:

2. Choose Links from the menu. 

3. In this example is being rejected to our itblokes.com domain. So, in the "From" field we enter .

4. In the "To" field we use an *, this allows relaying to any user.

5. Finally in the "@" field we enter the domain where we want to allow the relay to. In this example we are using itblokes.com. Note: as a domain administrator your domain will already be filled in, this cannot be changed.
